WARRANTY INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in Trebor Manufacturing products, a division of Trebor Building Products Ltd. Trebor Manufacturing warrants all its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the end consumer. The warranty comes into effect as soon as the product is acquired by the end consumer, regardless of the purchase date by the distributor. Parts must be properly installed and used under normal conditions. Any alteration, misuse, accident, or lack of maintenance will void the warranty. No repairs, even temporary, should be carried out on the product without prior authorization from Trebor Manufacturing, under penalty of warranty cancellation. Trebor Manufacturing’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to prior authorization for product returns.

Trebor Manufacturing remains committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and offers fast turnaround times, on-time delivery, competitive prices, order customization, and a standard one-year warranty on all its products for the direct benefit of the end consumer.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care: Any damage resulting from improper maintenance or care is not covered by the warranty.
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or shipping damage: The warranty does not apply to damages resulting from improper use, abuse, negligence, accidents, or damage occurring during shipping.
  • Buyer’s remorse dissatisfaction: Claims based on buyer’s remorse are not covered by the warranty.
  • Normal wear and tear: Damages resulting from normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty
  • Damage during assembly, installation, or maintenance: Damages resulting from improper assembly, installation, or maintenance are not covered by the warranty.
  • Previously used and/or demonstration products: Products already used or used for demonstration purposes are devoid of warranty.
  • Incorrectly installed product or without our company’s installation equipment: Warranties do not apply to products incorrectly installed or not following the installation equipment recommended by our company.

Trebor Manufacturing provides no express, written, or oral warranties and expressly excludes all warranties and conditions not mentioned in this limited warranty.

All warranty claims must be filed by the consumer with the retailer of this product, who in turn must contact the manufacturer for any return, repair, or warranty replacement. Trebor Manufacturing does not directly handle consumer claims. It is recommended to retain invoices for at least one year for warranty purposes.

CLAIM PROCEDURES – CONSUMERS

  • Validity period of claims: Claims for defective goods will be valid for a period of one year from the invoicing date.
  • Claims for missing parts: Consumers must report missing parts directly to the original retailer upon receipt of the goods, providing all necessary information, such as the invoice, photos, or any other document tracing the product.
  • Packaging of defective goods returns: Any claim for returns of defective goods must be packaged in the original packaging or adequately protected for transportation.
  • Inspection of returns: Consumers must follow the instructions of the original retailer regarding the return and inspection process.
  • Required documentation: Consumers must provide the original retailer with photos of the defective goods and a copy of the original invoice for any claims.
  • Repair, replacement, or credit: If the claim is accepted, the original retailer will process the repair, replacement, or issuance of credit in collaboration with our company.

CLAIM PROCEDURES – RETAILERS

  • Transmission of claims: Retailers must advise consumers on the procedures to follow for any claims. They must receive the necessary information, including the invoice, photos, and details of the claim.
  • Packaging of defective goods returns: Retailers must inform consumers on how to properly package returns of defective goods to avoid damage during transportation.
  • Prior authorization: No repairs should be made without prior authorization from our company, and this authorization must be obtained by the retailer in coordination with the consumer.
  • Handling of repairs: Retailers are responsible for facilitating the repair, replacement, or issuance of credit process in collaboration with our company once the claim is accepted.
  • Required documentation: Consumers must provide the original retailer with photos of the defective goods and a copy of the original invoice for any claims.
  • Repair, replacement, or credit: If the claim is accepted, the original retailer will process the repair, replacement, or issuance of credit in collaboration with our company.

Note: Any modified product, including temporary modification, will not be considered under warranty. Approval from our company must be obtained before any product modification.

RETURN POLICY

Our return policy aims to ensure customer satisfaction while preserving the quality of our products. This policy applies exclusively to new products that have never been used or installed.

  • Return conditions: Returns will only be accepted if the products are returned within 6 months of receiving the goods. Additionally, custom-made and discontinued products are not eligible for return.
  • Authorization/deduction guidelines: Before initiating a return, please note that a 15% restocking fee may apply*. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is mandatory for all returns. Any product returned without an RMA will be refused upon delivery.

Return Process :

  • Obtaining an RMA: Contact our customer service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before initiating the return process.
  • Shipping costs: Shipping costs are the responsibility of the requester.
  • Product evaluation: Credit will only be applied after a thorough evaluation and inspection of the returned product.
  • Condition of returns: Products must be returned in their original condition to be eligible for a refund. Any damaged product or showing signs of use will not be accepted.

We recommend our customers contact our customer service before initiating a return for any clarification or additional information. We are committed to making the return process as transparent and simple as possible while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Warranty Limitation / Claim for Delivery

  • Delivery by Trebor Manufacturing: When delivery is provided by Trebor Manufacturing, the company commits to delivering the product in perfect condition to the recipient. However, Trebor Manufacturing’s liability is expressly limited to losses or damages occurring during the transport of goods, following the carrier’s claim policies. The recipient is required to adhere to the deadlines stipulated by the carrier for any potential claims. It is the recipient’s responsibility to provide irrefutable evidence demonstrating that the goods were damaged during transport. A thorough inspection of all orders must be carried out at the time of delivery. Any product with damages must be immediately documented and reported to the carrier’s driver on-site. Failure to follow this procedure will result in warranty cancellation.
  • Recipient-organized delivery: In cases where the recipient organizes or bears the cost of delivery, Trebor Manufacturing expressly disclaims any responsibility for potential damages occurring during transport. The recipient assumes full responsibility for the safety of the goods as soon as they are handed over to the chosen carrier. It is understood that Trebor Manufacturing will not be involved in any way in the claims process for damages related to transport. The account-responsible customer must initiate and carry out all necessary steps to seek compensation from their chosen carrier. Trebor Manufacturing is not responsible for any disputes, compensation claims, or other procedures related to damages during transport. Any claim must be handled directly between the recipient and their carrier, without Trebor Manufacturing’s involvement. It is strongly recommended for the recipient to insure the goods during transport and choose a reputable carrier offering adequate insurance services. By signing the delivery receipt, the recipient acknowledges and accepts these conditions, expressly waiving any claim against Trebor Manufacturing related to damages during transport.
  • Claim Timeframe: Any recipient, whether a final customer or a distributor, must submit any claim within the deadlines set by the carrier, which may vary. Trebor Manufacturing cannot be held responsible for claims filed after these deadlines.
  • Customer’s Responsibility: The recipient acknowledges and accepts that their active collaboration is essential to guarantee the quality of delivery. By signing the delivery receipt, the recipient certifies to have inspected the goods and found them in good condition according to the delivery terms. Any signature indicating receipt in good condition constitutes a waiver of any subsequent claim for visible or hidden damages.
  • Claim Information: In the event of a claim, the recipient must provide Trebor Manufacturing with all necessary information within the deadlines specified by the carrier. This includes, but is not limited to, photographs of damages, a detailed description of the issues, and any other document required by the carrier to process the claim.
